In February 2019, Hope IT offered a course to create cameras out of Raspberry PIs. This idea came from RedHat and their Co.Lab, see their web page and video here. Our course didn’t have the cool truck, great hats and T-shirts.
We used Psalm 23 as our literary guide, and on the 3rd week, after the students built their cameras, we went around a college campus nearby and good pictures. 2 volunteer photographers explained how to take and frame pictures, using concepts like angles and sunlight.
We were pleased with this course as it showed how technology, art, and even faith can be combined. Below are a few pictures of our time together.
